This unique procession with lot of color and variety was a treat to the eyes. St. Thomas the Apostle, the founder of the Syro Malabar Catholic Church landed in a sail boat and was well received by the local rulers and his family members. Various floats, groups from different centres, parishes filled in the procession with colourful dresses, banners and tableau. The crowing glory of the procession was the grand Chenda Melam performed by 101 artistes drawn from across USA and Canada.
